What FoxSpark Does

FoxSpark is a browser extension that helps you generate draft posts for X (formerly Twitter) in your personal writing style. It works by analyzing publicly available profile information and tweets to build a voice profile, then uses AI to generate drafts that match your tone.

Data We Collect

• Public X/Twitter profile data — username, display name, bio, follower counts, and publicly visible tweets. This is used solely to build a writing style profile.
• Extension preferences — language, theme, and configuration settings stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses, real names, or contact information
• Passwords, authentication tokens, or financial data
• Browsing history or activity on sites other than x.com / twitter.com
• Private or protected tweets
• Location, IP address, or device identifiers

How We Use Data

• Public tweet content is sent to our backend server to generate a voice persona and draft posts.
• Generated drafts are returned to the extension and are not stored on our servers after the session.
• Extension preferences are stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers.

Third-Party Services

Our backend uses third-party AI model providers (such as OpenAI and Google) to generate drafts. Tweet content may be sent to these providers as part of the generation process. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's core functionality.

Data Retention

Voice profiles and ingested tweet data are stored on our servers to enable draft generation across sessions. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
